Artist Statement Of Sorts:
At the glorious age of 40, I am embarking on my fourth life, averaging a new career per decade. Formerly a retired ballerina and fashion industry drop out, currently an interior design devote and wordsmith in progress. We hope. Why do I write? So I don't explode.
INTO THE MOUTHS OF WOLVES (working title) is my first manuscript, though I am workshopping several other ideas in the Dark Romance/Romantasy space. You can find me typing furiously from my home in New Jersey, in whatever hours remain after helming my eponymous, slow-paced/high value interior design firm.
Though I am constantly dysregulated by the incessant barking of my Sheepadoodle, I excel at my other responsibilities, which include fixing all the booboos, and on-demand nursing toddlers who are more than capable of self-weaning (if only they would try). Honorable mention goes to my husband, I guess, but his nipples are not nearly as useful.
I hold a BA of Art & Art History from Dickinson College, but the experience of acquiring it was kind of lame. My quick and dirty trade-related degrees are far more relevant to my career trajectory- Certificate of Fashion Design from Polimoda in Florence Italy, and Certificate of Interior Design from Ryerson University in Toronto. Do I hold an honorary MBA from Stern courtesy of the CFDA? That's a story for another time. Imposter syndrome? Never heard of her!

There is nothing to writing.
All you do is sit down at a typewriter
and bleed.
